A New Catechism. This One For Youth!
Benedict XVI has undertaken putting out a new catechism. No, this will not take the place of the Catechism of the Catholic Church (CCC). Instead, it is a catechism, which stems from the CCC, much like the Compendium did, but for a specific audience. The new catechism, entitled "YouCat" which is short for YouthCatechism, is targeted for youth. Keep in mind that throughout the rest of the world the term "youth" is a little different age bracket than we in the U.S. often consider. In this case we are talking about young people between the ages of 14 and 30 years of age.
