We don't know for sure the day that Jesus was born. But there is more and more being studied that points to the fact that December 25th may not have simply been chosen to take over some pagan holiday. in fact, that thought has been pretty well debunked.
Today, Jimmy Akin posted an article explaining why the commonly taught idea that the shepherds and sheep point toward a different time of year has a lot of holes in it.
